Organisation: Australian Youth Climate Coalition
Purpose: To educate and mobilise young Australians to take action on climate change.
About: The Australian Youth Climate Coalition is a non-partisan, non-profit coalition with the aim of “educating, inspiring, empowering and mobilising an entire generation in the struggle for climate justice and a clean energy future.” The coalition consists of 25 other youth organisations, which includes the National Union of Students amongst many.[2][6] The organisation aims “to build a generation-wide movement to solve the climate crisis, through uniting diverse youth organisations around this common challenge”[7] Internationally, the coalition is part of the Global Youth Climate Movement.
